Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy is a depth-oriented approach that helps facilitate self-exploration by examining emotional blind spots, understanding relationship patterns.

With this approach, clients are encouraged to speak about whatever is most present at the moment, including current issues, fears, desires, dreams and fantasies. The goal is to reduce symptoms, but even more so to increase self-esteem, recognize and access their own talents and abilities, and build an improved capacity for developing and maintaining more satisfying relationships.

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy can be complementary with other approaches, including skill building and cognitive approaches.
