Hi, I'm Kimberly.
LMFT (116664)

When the little voice inside your head says “I’m not good enough” it’s too easy to believe it. The inner critic is a force to be reckoned with! People are often harder on themselves than they are on other people and I want to help you challenge that little voice and learn to believe in yourself again. We often hold ourselves to an impossible standard and it’s overwhelming to try to keep up. Sometimes you just need time to reflect and breathe.

Your problems are unique. I believe your therapy should be too.

There are many ways to heal. I don’t need you to change in any particular way, or on any particular timetable. I can help you discover your own innate wisdom and honor your strengths. I am always excited to design sessions around your specific needs. Whether we are developing coping skills, finding meaning in your life, or processing traumatic childhood experiences, my focus is on two things: ensuring that you feel safe and that you have choices.

My style of therapy is flexible and gentle. I offer compassion and acceptance and peace.  I can help you shine a light on the skeletons in your closet (they may turn out to be coat stands). I offer a place to look inward and forward, knowing that no matter what you find I will be right there with you.

I know that trauma can be a result of unjust systems- racism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia, and more. I work to keep therapy from reinforcing those systems. I’m ready to listen, to validate you, to be wrong, and to always keep your feelings front and center

Mindfulness is a frequent and powerful part of my sessions.  I am trained in Brainspotting, which helps people process trauma and PTSD.  I am poly and LGBTQI-affirmative.  I look forward to meeting you and working together to make your life better!
