Julie is a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in utilizing ketamine therapy to support mental health and well-being. She holds a Master’s Degree and two post-Master’s Degrees in Psychiatry and Perinatal/Neonatal care, all from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Driven by a deep commitment to innovation in mental health, Julie is a 2022 graduate of the California Institute for Integral Studies' Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research program. She has also completed MAPS training to prepare for the anticipated FDA approval of MDMA for therapeutic use.
Julie is profoundly passionate about the transformative potential of psychedelic medicine to foster healing and personal growth. Her practice is rooted in the belief that these medicines can unlock an individual's inner capacity for healing, paving the way to deeper connection and resilience.

Julie has had a diverse career, holding executive leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente. There, she worked on initiatives in technology, healthcare innovation, safety, and quality improvement. She has also contributed as a neonatal nurse practitioner, project director, and inpatient department leader at Kaiser Permanente’s Oakland Medical Center. Julie’s broader professional experience spans IT consulting with IBM Business Consulting Services and project management in various settings.

She earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from UCSF and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of San Francisco. Across all her roles, Julie remains committed to advancing integrative, evidence-based care that meets individuals with empathy, expertise, and hope for healing.
