Group Therapy Rocks!
We tend to think of therapy is traditional terms – meeting one-on-one with a therapist to do our deep healing work. This is still the primary model of therapy, but not the only one. Group therapy can be really powerful and an important part of the healing journey. Not to mention it’s more affordable and can be good if you have limited funds, but still want to invest in your healing process.
Groups help with:

- Connecting to other human beings
- Fostering a sense of universality, that sense of “I’m not alone”
- Learning from other people, not just the therapist
- Experiencing unconditional support
- Building social skills
