Hi, I'm Karina.
(LMFT 134245)
For as long as I can remember, I have always been intrigued by human behavior. My curiosity and insightfulness led me to this ongoing journey that began in middle school, when I decided to seek therapy for myself. My purpose since then has been to understand and fully accept the circumstances that once shaped who I became and to not let them define me.

My approach to therapy is integrative and unique to the individual. I incorporate mindfulness and body awareness into my practice. Together we can work to understand and untangle the patterns in your life which no longer serve you, explore new ways that can help you break the cycle and discover how to flow effortlessly in life.

Behavior is informed by our thoughts, body sensations, emotions, intuition, spiritual experiences, and our connections with others. Gaining understanding and having the willingness to modify the behavior which no longer serve us can ultimately help us heal and transform.

We not only have a mind but also a body. I focus on the interconnection between the two and specialize in therapy that considers the whole person - mind, body, and soul. I believe self-awareness can only be achieved from the whole person perspective, and it’s the first step towards healing.

My hope is that you will come away from our work having a better relationship with yourself, and move toward the life you want with clarity, confidence and support.
Fun fact: I love the mountains and being around forests full of tall trees, they represent stillness which allows me to connect with my inner sense of peace and wisdom.
