These are the kinds of things that you may hear throughout your week. They are hurtful, confusing and invalidating... and inaccurate. I am a sensitive person and I grew up with these words in my ears. They hurt until I learned that sensitive can be an asset and emotions don't have to run the show. DBT taught me this and changed my life. Since then I have witnessed it change other people's lives over and over again. DBT works.

DBT is a therapeutic approach that helps people learn to regulate their emotions so they can have better relationships, handle crisis when they come up, make better decisions, and keep emotions in check. We believe that DBT can help EVERY SINGLE PERSON and have found it incredibly helpful in my own life.  No one can teach DBT unless they use it in their own lives, and we do.

DBT consists of attending a skills group once and week and participating in individual therapy. In addition you will have access to free coaching calls in between sessions. In group you will learn mindfulness, crisis management skills, relationship and communication skills, understanding your emotions and how to managing those emotions so they don't rule your life, even when times get tough.
