Overachievers, how are you handling your burnout? I find that there is a particular type of person - the one who can't let balls drop and who is always worried about disappointing others, highly intelligent people who have a hard time understanding their own worth - who are at highest risk for burnout. This can include people with compulsive behaviors that they use to try to cope, such as substance or process addictions. It often comes down to attachment wounding, perfectionism, and difficulty with self care. I can help you find direction in your life, identify your strengths and build deep, satisfying relationships.

I am trained in EMDR, Mindfulness CBT, and Somatic Techniques this aids me in treating trauma. I have a MS in Criminology which helps me serve people who are struggling with behaviors such as gambling, addictions, and overeating. I am also a Certified Nutritionist and Reiki teacher which can aid in supporting a positive body image and reduce overeating.

My biggest strength is the work I have done on myself and how that applies to people who are struggling. I bring a willingness to look at my clients holistically and I come from a place of “whatever works for the client” mindset.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I provide therapy with a holistic
approach—focusing on the interplay of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. I
specialize in working with highly intelligent clients who are challenged by impulsive behaviors,
addiction, and relationships. I have worked with families, couples, and individuals for over
nineteen years as an addiction treatment specialist, program director, therapist, and clinical
